Sylva Koloska

In 2013 Sylva finished her studying in Master’s Degree program at the studio of sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. During studies she spent one semester at the Kuvataide Academy in Helsinki.
After studies she moved to Berlin.
Her production is mainly focused on a human figure in various contexts. Another topic is identity and mask. In her creation it depends on purity of shape and using components of symbolism and bizarre atmosphere.
She is usually inspired by her own photos, nature or curious experiences and dreams.
Sylva is usually working with different materials in her sculpture work, but she is also drawing, painting and illustrating. She is also interested in to installation.
